Does not exist symbol[edit]

(Touched up maths notation. Still lacking a symbol for "there does not exist".) [1]

The standard way is $\not \exists$ , I would suppose. \nexists would be the nicer-looking LaTeX, but Wikipedia can't handle that. $\not \!\exists$ (with a negative thin space) looks better. In any case, I'm happy to see someone else with a mathematical bent looking at the voting articles -- they need some help. CRGreathouse 19:59, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, quick answer! Thanks for the info on how to write the symbol. I gave up when neither \nexists nor \nexist worked. Fair use images in user space[edit]

Hello. I noticed the User:Bromskloss/Famous images page you created. Please keep in mind that all fair use images (which includes many of the images on that page) must comply with the fair use criteria. #9 of the criteria indicates that they are not supposed to be used outside of articles. Doh! Good point, I'm afraid. :-( It's a shame those cool images are tied down like that by not being free. I should probably get rid of the page altogether. It wasn't finished anyway and I didn't expect anyone to find it until I announced it somewhere! :-) So, it'll become, at best, a private collection now. You can still keep the page if you put a colon in front of the fair use images to link to them, like this [[:Image:Example.jpg]]. If you want to delete it, though, you can put the {{Db-userreq}} template on the page. Khatru2 22:47, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perl script[edit]

Hey, I didn't want to play one-up on the computer reference desk -- but I think I have a much cleaner little filter that's easier to understand than the one mysid gave you:

Crimson Skies[edit]

Hi! No, it's actually no good at all. I am just fascinated by it for the setting in which it plays out. It looks like the 30s or so, and the player is part of a group of some kind of air pirates (I love flight!). They use a zeppelin as base from and onto which they launch and land their airplanes. How cool! (Apparently, this has even been experimented with in real life.) The gameplay consists of fighting other pirate gangs and possibly the law enforcement as well. I seem to remember that the aircraft behaviour was very unrealistic, so unfortunately no good game. —Bromskloss 16:53, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
