Speedy deletion of Bravo Location[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bravo Location requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You appear to have a conflict of interest surrounding the article Bravo Location Rentals. You created the article, and several related redirects, and added material to it that could reasonably be considered to be promotional. In addition, you uploaded this company logo claiming to be the copyright holder of the work. Either you are involved with the business in some way, and thus have a conflict of interest, or you are not the copyright holder of the image and therefore have no rights to license it as you did. Below is a template explaining our conflict of interest policy:

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you.

Thanks for replying on my talk page about this, and clarifying everything. You're not forbidden from editing the article, just discouraged, and you have to be careful what you do add. You can of course bring up changes on the talk page. Nice place to work, by the way. :) Phil153 (talk) 17:32, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Per your question about the tags, (in my opinion) it's almost certainly going to be deleted from the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Bravo_Location_Rentals. Company doesn't meet notability guidelines. To save it you would need to show significant coverage in independent sources like newspapers. Phil153 (talk) 17:46, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of Bravo rentals[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bravo rentals, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bravo rentals is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bravo rentals, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
