September 2020[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. Glen (talk) 13:43, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As per below. You've already registered the account, so no need to use this one. Note that you are required to adhere to WP:COI. Yamla (talk) 12:01, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The user account Jessica Bublies (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was registered 87 minutes ago. Was that you? If so, this request is moot and I yust would like you to declare on your userpage that this was your prevoius account (because you dont want to be accused of using two accounts, which will generally cost a bunch of nerves) Victor Schmidt (talk) 15:31, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this was me – but I can't make any changes to the Bublies Kommunikation account. I will make a note on the Jessica Bublies account instead. OK?

I have made the notes at the Jessica Bublies user account now. OK? Unblocked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessica Bublies (talkcontribs) 08:13, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry I don't follow? What exactely can I do to be unblocked? I really need to make an English version of an already existing page. The Swedish version was approved already in May (using my Bublies Kommunikation profile). Now I need to make the English version – using Jessica Bublies? But is Jessica Bublies as a user unblocked? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessica Bublies (talkcontribs) 12:06, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we aren't interested in having you do that. See WP:COI and WP:PAID. Note that the Swedish language project and the English language project have different rules. If you wish to write about subject areas for which you have no conflict of interest, you are free to edit using your Jessica Bublies account. --Yamla (talk) 13:08, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't mean to be rude @Yamla but I have read the text you refer to (eg WP: PAID). English isn't my first language but as far as I understand I have left a comment on my user page where I inform that I'm a paid user and that ESBE has paid me. I don't understand what I need to do more? The company I'm wiring about is one of the leaders in Europe and they have a very long and quite unique history. I don't understand why the Swedish Company "SKF" is aloud to have an English page if ESBE is not? It's not a commercial text – it's only facts about the company – history and management together with economical reports. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessica Bublies (talkcontribs) 13:31, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP:COI says, "This page in a nutshell: Do not edit Wikipedia in your own interests, nor in the interests of your external relationships." You've made an accusation that SKF has been edited by employees of the company. Please provide your specific evidence of this. Our expectation is that only uninvolved editors write about companies. --Yamla (talk) 14:55, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is no accusation from my side. I was just comparing the information on the Wikis. If there is one that obviously has been approved but another one with similar contence is not – I'm just trying to figure it all out. No offence what so ever. I think there is a point of the ESBE information to exist on Wikipedia – and it has nothing to do with personal or external interest. It's an very old company, unique in it's history and kind. 80 % is owned by the family and 20 % by the employees. They are 114 years old and are a leading brand in the whole of Europe. Why isn't that relevant? And aren't you allowed to be a paid writer? I thought honesty was appreciated in this matter, but clearly not? Still no offence. If I sound harsh it's because English is my second language and I'm trying to understand the resistance against the article I'm trying to write. But if there is no way to get it published, I will of course rest my case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessica Bublies (talkcontribs) 05:54, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is, the other article was presumably written by independent editors who had no conflict of interest, unless you have specific evidence to the contrary. --Yamla (talk) 10:13, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
