The deletionsts are at work I see. Although I probably wouldn't have been quite so quick with the article, you've made a good start. There are rumours around that, if true, will firmly establish the case for the notablility of this accident. Good luck! Mjroots (talk) 18:14, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Have you heard of Did you know? If not, it promotes anything new, like the article you were working on. You can nominate this article for DYK by creating a nomination page at template talk:did you know. If you need help, I can help you. --George Ho (talk) 19:26, 1 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have indeed! Someone created a DYK for my St. Jude storm article a while back. I'll have a go at doing one for this. :) GeorgeGriffiths (talk) 14:06, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've redeveloped this article by researching it through a newspaper database, and think that the notability criteria are now met. I'd appreciate it if you could please reconsider your vote in the AFD. Regards, Nick-D (talk) 04:09, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Beaufort scale[edit]

Hey there, I noticed you put up a table of Beaufort forces for the 2015-16 windstorm season and cited the Met Office's summary pages. There is no mention of Beaufort force or mean wind speeds on the page, but there are wind gusts. This caused me some concern, since Beaufort conversion for land wind speeds usually use 10 minute sustained averages and not gusts (RMetS. Forgive me if I am wrong, but this seemed to be what you were doing. Jolly Ω Janner 19:39, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
