Hi Buttons0603. When you move pages like "UTC Sheffield City Centre" for diambiguation purposes, please check to make sure that there aren't any non-free files being used in the article. All non-free files are required to have separate specific non-free use rationales for each use; so, when you change the name of an article, the rationale also needs to be correspondingly changed to avoid problems like this. I caught this and re-added the file to the infobox, but non-free files which aren't being used in any articles can be speedily deleted per WP:F5 after five days. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:01, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies I wasn't aware this was even a thing, thanks for letting me know! Will be more careful next time. Buttons0603 (talk) 21:12, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to NA winter storm and Euro windstorm mergers[edit]

Hello! Last night when i logged on i was a bit shocked at the amount of changes to the winter storm arcticles i spent hours creating and the overall winter arcticle, which had been near completely altered. First of all, my January 2020 storm article has been altered and now contains info on Winter Storm Jacob, which it was not intended to be about. It's fine if you would like a winter storm jacob article but I would've liked you to seperate it first. Second of all; not sure if it was you that merged NA winter storms with Euro windstorms BUT you altered the article for them. If you had put a "see also" link for the windstorms it would have been fine. Thanks for reading. I hope you understand. Wikicanada1127 (talk) 17:11, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, all the content you made still exists, it might just be in a different place. There was very little of your content that I actually changed, it was just relocated. The three articles involved were Storm Ciara, Storm Gloria and January 2020 North American storm complex so may be worth checking out all three. I merged the February storm complex article and Ciara because they are the same extratropical system (this was discussed at Talk:Storm Ciara#Merger proposal) and, using the same precedent from that discussion, merged the original January storm complex article and Storm Gloria because they were also the same system. I then for convenience reused the January storm complex article title for Winter Storm Jacob which previously didn't have an article, although admittedly it does make things a little confusing. Thanks for responding! I understand now. :) Wikicanada1127 (talk) 02:44, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm slightly alarmed by the edits you're making to previous windstorm season pages with very little in the way of citations or references to back up your changes. I hope they're forthcoming.Lacunae (talk) 00:15, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Hospital Kilmainham[edit]

I am very sorry if you thought I was patronising you when I saw unsourced material added to this article. I have spent a huge amount of time writing new articles on Irish psychiatric hospitals and expanding and updating existing articles on Irish general hospitals. Indeed I spent the best part of a year doing just that. I am not sure what more I can say. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 20:35, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry! I was in a bad mood already when I saw that. I'm sure you meant no harm. Apologies for forgetting to cite it in the first place. Best wishes! Buttons0603 (talk) 00:03, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's kind. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 00:04, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hollis Croft moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Hollis Croft, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. May 2020[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Stop peeing about with the trains mate. All the best! serial # 00:04, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Land Depressions[edit]

FYI in the right conditions, tropical cyclones can develop overland and it is common in India and Australia. In fact, the US NHC initiated advisories on Julia 2016 and classified Katrina 2005 as a hurricane while they were over land. In this case, the IMD classified the system as a depression at 13:00 UTC yesterday, while it was located at 17.5N 54.0E or approx 55 km (35 mi) to the northwest of Salalah which is pretty much on the Arabian Sea.Jason Rees (talk) 17:03, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, not something I was ever aware of happening. Buttons0603 (talk) 18:07, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, I've been adding a few storms to the article for C1 Atlantic canes. I think it could be a good collaboration. Would you be interested in participating in a collaboration with other users to help finish the article? No worries if not - happy editing! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 14:17, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"TLC Travel" listed at Redirects for discussion[edit]

A discussion is taking place to address the redirect TLC Travel. The discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 August 18#TLC Travel until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Great Heck rail crash[edit]

Hey there,

I saw that you had requested the move of the Great Heck rail crash as the result of a consensus being formed as a result of a discussion somewhere. I have found the discussion that was linked in the archives of the other article, but it only mentioned the Great Heck rail disaster in passing. Is there another discussion on this issue that I'm not aware of?

Cheers, Acebulf (talk) 23:55, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason you moved the article to add the year? Generally, retired storms don't have the year, as they're considered the most significant storm of that name. Martin isn't scheduled to be used anytime soon - it'll be on the list in the Atlantic in 2022, but that would be named Hurricane Martin. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:19, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, since I've completed the moving process you can now see why I was doing it! Buttons0603 (talk) 21:38, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Personally I do not see why FU Berlin naming a storm something, means that we need to move a retired name away from the primary topic. Especially when we are moving towards storms named x. Also your the one who boldly moved the pages without the discussion, so you can not blame me for reverting or fucking it up as you stated in your edit summary.Jason Rees (talk) 21:49, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see, the Martin in 1999 was costlier and deadlier than the 1997 Martin. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:01, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

04F 2009[edit]

Hi George, I have reverted your move of January 2009 Fiji Floods, as the floods were caused by a mixture of 04F and 05F as well as other meteorological factors such as the South Pacific Convergence Zone and the monsoon trough.Jason Rees (talk) 21:46, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
