June 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Out-of-place artifact, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 16:01, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Updated with a reliable source. Bwolaver (talk) 17:49, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. I was looking at the tree, not the forest. Such summaries should really match the main article. That source was discussed several times on the article's talk page, the last one being here. Doug Weller talk 14:04, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Wolaver moved to draftspace (No citations, biography of a living person)[edit]

An article you recently created, Robin Wolaver, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

Notice

The article Robin Wolaver has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, Bwolaver,

Should you disagree with a page you created being moved to Draft space, it's preferable that you move it back to main space rather than cut & paste and create a new version. Doing so erases the page edit history of the original version and results in having two copies of the same article in different stages of development.

It's perfectly acceptable for you to object to a move to draftify an article and move it back. I will say that often, editors move a page to Draft space that they believe will be subject to speedy deletion. Draft space is a safer space to develop articles, build up sources and references, where it won't be as subject to deletion so it can be in your best interests to work on an article in Draft space unless you think it is solid and won't be tagged for deletion. Our New Page Patrol can be a little vigilant in evaluating new articles that are put directly into main space.

If you have questions about any of this, you can always find help (and hopefully answers!) by going to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:34, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Wolaver moved to draftspace[edit]

Robin Wolaver appears to have been created by someone close to the subject. WP:COI editors are expected to submit pages for review through the WP:AFC process. I've moved it to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. When you feel that it meets our notability and neutrality requirements you can submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page.
