Tagging articles[edit]

I see you've been adding tags to articles with no explanation in the edit summary and no comments on the article's talk page to explain your concerns. That isn't helpful. Please explain in your edit summaries or on the talk page what your specific concerns about an article are. Schazjmd (talk) 17:14, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, i thing that was small edit that’s why I am not listed there but I will do. Bytexincc (talk) 17:15, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This edit that you made is fine, because it's clear to other editors why the article has been tagged. None of the others were useful; what "more info" is needed and why? Also, Wikipedia style has standard sections, such as External links. Please don't change them to Official Websites, that's not what the section is for (and headings always use sentence-case). Schazjmd (talk) 17:18, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This still doesn't help other editors know what your concern is. You could have said (in your edit summary or on the talk page) "section is missing info on whatever it is you think is missing", then other editors will know what to improve to address your concern. Anurag Dixit (Singer) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Anurag Dixit (Singer), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Maliner (talk) 19:06, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not move that article to mainspace again until it's been reviewed via WP:AFC[edit]

I've moved it back to draftspace; as it stands now, that article does not have sufficient sourcing to meet notability criteria. Please work on improving it submit it for approval via the WP:AFC process. If you move it to main spa ce again without AFC approval. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:24, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:46, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Bytexincc,
Do not move 15+ year old articles to Draft space or User space. You have only been editing for a few days and you already have so many warning messages on your User talk page. Please take things slow or you might find yourself losing your editing privileges. We try to understand new editors but if you keep making mistakes and don't learn over time, you could find yourself blocked.
If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:48, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
