Dear Captain Raju,

Very simply. This person was doping. This person received a 2 year ban for doping, which ended his career. This person has been posting fake citations and reasoning on this Wiki page for years, which are simply UNTRUE. There are literally hundreds of citations all over the net speaking about his ban, they are easily findable and clickable, there is nothing published anywhere that says, "such a ban could not happen today" or whatever fictional line this person repeatedly throws into the page, along with a fake link that leads nowhere (and there is nowhere on the USTF or any other athletics website that says anything like this). Furthermore if one looks at the commentary, it is obvious that this person is editing his own wiki page, with comments such as, "come and see me and I'll show you", which could even be construed as threatening. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.242.59.74 (talk) 00:41, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Changes this week

  • When someone tries to log in to a blocked account they will be blocked by a cookie. This means their browser will be blocked even if they change their IP address. This makes it more difficult for returning vandals. [1]
  • When you use Content Translation to adapt a template to a new translation it will work differently. You can adapt big templates such as infoboxes. Translators will have control over the template parameters. A first version of this is released this week. It is possible it will not work correctly with all templates. There will be more updates for this soon. [2]
  • The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 29 November. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 30 November. It will be on all wikis from 1 December (calendar).
  • Gadgets will have a new option called "hidden". This means you can register gadgets that can't be turned on or off from the preferences page. Hiding gadgets was already possible by using [rights=hidden]. You should now use [hidden] instead. [rights=hidden] in old gadgets should be changed to [hidden]. [3][4]

Reflecting Party and Play --- Real Defintions / Real Science / Real Neutrality

I am not sure why there is such a resistance to modifcation of the Party and Play page as it should be. AS IT STANDS -- IT IS HOMOPHOBIC IN IT'S CREATION AND OVER-EMPASIS ON GAY M4M and Meth Usage.

Dear Mr. Watson. I accept your explication, but I would like to place this back into a debate and a correction of this article. I am not sure how best to do this. My name is James M Driskill. There is substantial evidence that the article that is presently on the Wikipedia presented for many years is in fact bias to the truth. That bias places certain misunderstandings of this term into the memeplex of the society which is highly questionable to the motives and cause to effects of how the usage of this misunderstanding is used and can be used and/or abused upon users of the information society. BTW: If you look at the domain registration of realuphuman.net --- you will find that the Corp Name I hold this under is "In The Mindway" -- Would you please conduct your own google.books search for this phrase and realize that I am indeed a contributing source to this wikipedia's book title : Information Theory : Last Chapter Meme Information Warfare Also for clarity, you may delete my comments outright -- but they were substainally archived at this location : realuphuman.net/WebDomains/en.wikipedia.org/Party and Play I think maybe the tag was added because of all the homophobic subtext? A completely naive reader only reading this article might be led to think sex on meth was a purely gay phenomenon. Too fast

You applied this tag too quickly. Clearly, the editor was in the process of building the article, but you tagged it for "no content" within two minutes of its creation. In general, I like to give a user some time to develop their article before tagging (except for egregious cases of spam, attack pages or copyright violations). My general rule of thumb is to allow at least 15 minutes after creation. Anything faster is too bitey and discourages new editors. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:48, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

Overhasty CSD tagging

Heyo CAPTAIN RAJU. I wanted to let you know that I reverted your A3 tagging of a new article, two minutes after its creation. It is stated on the policy page that at least a few minutes should be spared before using A1 or A3 to give the author some time to come up with content. I usually wait for 10-15 minutes before using either of them and some admins recommend even more. It is only to give a fair chance to the newcomers who aren't exactly aware as to how Wikipedia functions. Best, Yash! 17:53, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

You are patrolling pages too soon after their creation, you are hastily adding CSD A1 and A3 tags to brand new articles, and you are not showing any responsiveness to feedback on your talk page. my comment was removed as it was not considered constructive.

I made an edit to the top of the Square Inc. Page listing my experience with the company and attempting to contact customer support directly. I believe the information is very helpful as many users are lead to believe they have access to customer support between 6am and 6pm pst, when in fact this is a bold faced lie. The turn around time for customer questions is 1-2 business days. I have a question that needed to be resolved within 30 min and was more or less told to sit and spin. I would like my edit to be kept on the page. but please feel free to move to any area you see fit. The sentence in Latin I had corrected was incomplete as can be seen from the citation of the same text in article Nerthus. Please correct the citation yourself. You seem to revert constructive edits by flagging them as vandalism. If you have no clue about the validity please consult Nerthus which contains the same Latin text or consult Tacitus' Germania.The Latin text is incomplete. Information icon Hello CAPTAIN RAJU. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at MHPS DONGFANG BOILER CO.,LTD. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. December 2, 2016 Ceremony of Carols

I am a member of a group of university students editing the Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols article as part of a class project.
