Level 3 warning on trivial edit, by a new user with no other edits
Did this edit, by a new user with no other edits, REALLY warrant a Level 3 vandalism warning (especially considering WP:BITE)? I'll admit that I've never gotten the hang of choosing the right level of warning, and invariably err on the side of caution, but surely a Level 1 warning would have sufficed there. (Personally, I'd also have gone for "making test edits" rather than "vandalism", but that's probably me not understanding what constitutes a test edit). A level three warning simply says to please stop vandalizing. That doesn't constitute "biting" anyone. Dawnseeker2000 18:03, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
