Warning message
Hi,
Today when researching for college at the top pf a wiki page was "you have one new message" I found this strange as I don't actually have a Wikipedia account. Curiosity got the better of me so I clicked it and it said please stop vandalising pages? I'm wondering if this message shows for everyone or is directed at me? Forgive the ignorance but I know I have never edited anything on Wikipedia but just wanted to make sure someone is not hijacking my IP and editing things or something. I even made an account right now just to send this message to make sure this is not the case. I have no idea if this is even the correct way to reach CLCStudent but Im hoping it is. - It was not necessarily directed towards you. It was directed towards whoever was using the IP address at the time. CLCStudent (talk) 23:56, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
