Welcome![edit]

Hello, CNMall41, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was ChargeBee, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! —Unforgettableid (talk) 22:31, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited TrueCaller, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yelp (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nomination of Wondershare Software for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Wondershare Software is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wondershare Software until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Harsh (talk) 18:58, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Elon Musk[edit]

I have undone your vandalism to the Elon Musk page, I have provided reliable sources for ALL of my edits, and added to the article making it of a high quality and more delta lied, ignoring the sources and deleting the edits is vandalism.

I have provided reasons for all my edits, all of which do deleted any of the article merely add to it, creating a better quality and more detailed article, completing he story instead of something that can be misinterpreted such as the fact that he was involved with the company prior to its incorporation I have listed a source Market Business News, a reliable Online Business Newspaper. This does no reject that he is a cofounder but rather gives the full detail of the story. You seem to think he is not an investor even though I provided a source to Forbes VC Midas 2014 list, a very reliable source the fact that CNMall41 has deleted this source and removed investor is vandalism. To reiterate from above Inventor' is removed from occupation, if not this implies he is inventing on a day-to-day basis. This is hugely untrue. The only this he could be considered for in terms of inventing is Hyperloop, when in actual fact all he has done is conceptualise it, while announcing it as an open source project. This means that even if it could be classified as inventing it would be more of a hobby that a occupation. Introduction titles 'Business Magnate, investor' should be noteworthy... 'inventor' is not because of the reasons above. And the fact it implies he has multiple inventions which he has NOT. Therefore reverting this without giving a relievable source listing INVENTIONS, is vandalism.

Vandalism on this site has a particular meaning, and this isn't it. See WP:NOTVAND. ErikHaugen (talk | contribs) 17:20, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Dirac740 - I'm not really sure if a response is required. I am just trying to follow the guidelines as opposed to introducing my feelings into articles. While I do not really give 2 cents about Mr. Musk or his ventures, the sources say what they say. There really isn't anything to refute about him being a co-founder. If you feel otherwise, this is something that you should take up off-Wiki, not using Wikipedia as your sounding board for what you feel is different than the sources. --CNMall41 (talk) 15:59, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While unreleased films sometimes do not merit articles, this is not a hard nor fast rule. Applicable POLICY allows that future events may be spoke of, and in acknowledging this, applicable GUIDELINE for unreleased films lets us know that sometimes a film merits an article even if not yet released. See WP:NFF (paragraph 3). Expanded in the essays WP:NYF and WP:FFEXCEPTIONS. It is seen that the film being considered has indeed been subject of coverage in multiple reliable sources AND because it is slated for release within three weeks, inclusion criteria are met and I ask you to reconsider your deletion stance. Thank you, Schmidt, Michael Q. 04:42, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the education. I guess the vote was going by the letter of the law but it makes perfect sense since it was inevitable the article would meet criteria in the VERY near future. Will keep this in mind for future votes. Thanks again. --CNMall41 (talk) 15:12, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Content forks[edit]

I'm not sure this Volumetric DDoS attack and a couple of others you've created are notable in themselves, and in any case, may be better served instead of WP:CFORK, by growing inside the DDoS article per WP:SPINOFF. I've redirected the former (you may want to follow instructions for merging any content into the main article) and asked for more opinions on the latter. Widefox; talk 08:44, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a while since I have been here so sorry for the slow response. Trying to get back into the swing of things now. Although I still believe they are notable themselves, I don't see any issues with redirecting the names into the main article as long as the content itself is also included in the main article. It makes good sense actually. I will take a look at all of the articles and take care of anything that wasn't merged. Thanks for the message. --CNMall41 (talk) 15:10, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Synchrony Financial[edit]

Hello CNMall41,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Synchrony Financial for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 07:11, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wheels (Dan Tyminski album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Image formats[edit]

Hi, thank you for uploading some images to Wikipedia. Here's a tip: Use the right image format for the kind of image. As a general rule, this is JPEG for photographs, and PNG for most other kinds of images. Using the wrong format can bloat the file size and/or degrade the quality of the image. Most modern graphics applications will give you the choice between these formats among others. See also Wikipedia:Image use policy#Format. Good luck. — Smjg (talk) 20:56, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
