Overlinking[edit]

Per WP:OVERLINK we do not repeat links multiple times in one article. Neither do we normally link dates. Let me know if I can help you. --John (talk) 15:08, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you remiving the links I put to birth and death categories? Surely it is a logical place to put them rather than stuffed somewhere at the bottom.

The link you sent me says:

Repeated links

In general, link only the first occurrence of an item. This is a rule of thumb that has many exceptions, including the following:

where a later occurrence of an item is a long way from the first.
where the first link was in an infobox or a navbox, or some similar meta-content.
