A tag has been placed on Christos hatzis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on David squires requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:55, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good. I think you made your point. Please do continue to add information and sources you can find, but in its current form, it should save you from having it deleted. Thanks! :) Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 06:30, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the article because it did not indicate how the subject is notable by Wikipedia's criteria. All it said was that he's a musician and he's studying at university. If you want to work on an article without fear of it being deleted, you should start it in your user space (e.g. at User:Cablechan/Caleb Chan) and then move it back to main space when it's ready. ... discospinster talk 16:21, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Caleb. There are a couple of problems here, beginning with a conflict of interest. The other is your notability as a musical artist, covered here. With suitable references and a suitably neutral viewpoint, you might be eligible for an article. The best way to begin is with a user subpage an not necessarily your userpage:

User:Cablechan/Caleb Chan

This page will allow you to work on the article at your leisure but off of the main article space. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 06:46, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
