Image:Kibriyo_Rajabova_music_video_Tanhoyam.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Kibriyo_Rajabova_music_video_Tanhoyam.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 17:05, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Vietnamese people in Korea[edit]

"Côn" is a possible reading for 焜, according to the Thieu Chuu dictionary. According to vi.wiki, Ly Duong Con was an adopted son of king Ly Nhan Tong. He sought refuge in Goryeo in 1150 following a succession crisis. DHN 06:58, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, can you find any info on Syngman Rhee and his relationship with Ly Long Tuong? DHN 07:26, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your opinion welcome at deletion review for Plot of Les Mis[edit]

After Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Plot of Les Misérables closed as a deletion, I'm challenging the way the closing administrator acted as in violation of Wikipedia rules. Your participation is welcome at that discussion, Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 July 14. Please keep in mind that only arguments related to either new information or to how Wikipedia rules were violated or not violated in closing the discussion will be considered. It isn't a replay of the original AfD. I'm familiar with WP:CANVASSING and I am alerting everyone who participated in that discussion to the deletion review. I won't contact anyone again on this topic, and I apologize if you consider this note distracting. Noroton 04:06, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Estophobia vs Russophobia[edit]

Hi! You voted for deletion of the article Estophobia. Are not the same arguments applicable to Russophobia as well?--Mbuk 06:47, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong AfD[edit]

Hi Cab, thanks for brining that to my attention, yeah it was indeed intended for the doom (list of..) article. I have reverted my edit and your susequent edit on that AfD and readded it to the intended AfD. I hope you don't mind me removing your enquriey on the pedia AfD but obviously it made no sense once I'd removed my comments. Thanks for pointing that one out to me, god knows how i managed that. Cheers WikipedianProlific(Talk) 10:47, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The joys of afd[edit]

No offence meant - Indonesian project is rife with hoax articles - many have slipped through - and it is the last straw to have articles that are lists - they need correct titles. If someone can find more refs - great - thats the other issue - low literacy level editors who consider an article can stand on its own notability without a ref or cite in sight! So when we get things like the military history stuff coming in on one engine of one ref - a crash is immanent in my opinion, specially if you have aany idea of what has happened in Indonesian military procument in the last twenty years - its a jungle out there! . However I am sure if some bright spark closes it (the afd) and changes the title - we may get somebody putting enough in for the item to actually creep towards reasonable notability. Argh the joys of afd. cheers and best wishesSatuSuro 11:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Escats[edit]

I'm afraid you misunderstood my comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Escats. I do understand WP:INN - my reference to the eswiki was just an additional note. I did a google search and didn't get any hits, hence my notability complaint. How I got no hits is unexplainable, unless I somehow mistyped the band's name (escata?). Thanks for pointing out my error. —Travistalk 02:54, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alvin Chen[edit]

I'm not seeing a baseball player named Alvin Chen on any team past or present. Nothing at baseball-reference.com either, and they have guys who barely touched the coffeepot. --Charlene 03:51, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I wondered if possibly he was a major leaguer for a team called the "Angels" in Japan or another country (and Japan might still get him under WP:BIO), but I couldn't find anything. I did find a Chin-Feng Chen, but he already has an article. --Charlene 13:17, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
