How to upload files[edit]

Hi CalligRick,

Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously. It is for this reason we cannot simply take a picture anywhere from the internet and post it to Wikipedia. If you wish to upload a picture, please make sure that you hold the copyright, have permission to use the picture, or that your use qualifies as fair use, such as a logo or a book cover.

If you know you have permission to use the file, go to the Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard. The wizard will guide you to upload your picture and place the picture on the article.

I hope this helps, and by the way...

Speedy deletion nomination of Speedball Textbook[edit]

Hello CalligRick,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Speedball Textbook for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, dci | TALK 02:02, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • What to do: 1) put proper source and copyright info. on all the images you have uploaded. Until this is done it is pointless doing anything else. 2) Create a Commons: gallery for your uploads. 3) Add a brief note to Speedball (art products) about the textbooks and give a link to the Commons gallery. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 08:05, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment at my talk page[edit]

Hello CalligRick! Your line of work is fascinating; I would be glad to help you get the information in question onto Wikipedia in some form. Could you get back to me with more details? What would be especially useful are reliable sources regarding the subject; a better-defined listing of these can be found on the page I linked to. I will be available throughout tomorrow and the weekend to help. dci | TALK 02:45, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have requested that the page be undeleted and placed in your userspace, so you will have access to it. dci | TALK 02:50, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Completed[edit]

Your article has been restored to User:CalligRick/Speedball Textbook. The article needs significant work as it currently stands so that it conforms to Wikipedia guidelines and policies. I would advise reviewing WP:Your first article, WP:Verifiability, WP:Identifying reliable sources, and WP:NPOV. You need not read the entirety of these policies (they're rather bulky), but skimming them would be of great assistance, in my opinion. dci | TALK 14:01, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
