Could you help me with defining what "yüksek lisans" is in English? I need a proper equivalent. Is it some stage after finsihing uni but before starting a PhD programme...? or the PhD programme itself? Or something completely different? One of my friends is going to be a "yüksek mimar" and I'd like to know what kind of architect he actually is going to be :).
