Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Carlalune for evidence. Cirex[edit]

Regarding your query about the above, the article was missing the necessary template to place it in the correct category for review. I see that a template was added by an IP user (not sure if that was you) but it still wasn't quite correct, so I've now fixed it for you. I also see from above that this was declined for acceptance on 24 March, but there have been a significant number of edits since then including addition of some new references, so adding it back to the list seems reasonable in the circumstances. Approval of articles for creation is not an area in which I work, plus I'm not very active on WP right now so don't have the time to check the references and assess it properly myself, but on a cursory glance it doesn't appear to have addressed the concerns of the previous reviewer, so don't be surprised if it is declined again. Take time to read the comments of the reviewer and carefully read the links they provide to Wikipedia policies which will explain in detail why your submission may have been declined. I hope that helps. --Cactus.man 13:16, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cirex[edit]

Hi. In IRC, you asked for help with Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cirex. I remember telling you that you need to find newspaper sources to support the article and that you needed between 5 and 10 newspaper sources to help establish notability, that it would not pass with out this being done. Thus, I'm a bit confused as to why you pre-maturely submitted when many people who have tried to help you in IRC explained that notability is a big problem with this article, and that you need to improve sourcing by doing that. I'm looking at http://www.lemodeartmagazine.info/ , and page 19. You need to use Template:cite news or Template:cite journal, complete as much of this as possible and provide translated text as the source is not in English. --LauraHale (talk) 19:50, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop beating this dead horse. A good dozen editors have told you that the article as it stands is insufficient for Wikipedia; if you can't verifiably show that this artist is notable, then it's time to accept that and move on. Please consider improving other areas of Wikipedia instead of this vain attempt at self-promotion; see WP:Introduction_3 if you're interested. -RunningOnBrains(talk) 23:50, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:Carlalune/Cirex[edit]

Hello Carlalune. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Cirex".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Carlalune/Cirex}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 20:57, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Idaliz Escalante, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. An belated welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I've added a welcome message to the top of this page that gives a great deal of information about Wikipedia. I hope you find it useful.

Additionally, I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 19:01, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Famousbirthdays.com as a source[edit]

Hi Carlalune. I noticed that you recently used famousbirthdays.com as a source for biographical information in Eli Fantasy. Please note that there is general consensus that famousbirthdays.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 01:06, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Plush Mush requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://mtvrock.com/2021/01/03/plush-mush/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on Christian Hollingworth requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
