Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) such as Talk:Spain are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Hello @Tbhotch, many thanks for your comments. Please, let me to ask your advice about a problem I just found. An administrator of Spanish wiki just asked to apply me a global block (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Steward_requests/Global?markasread=4234477&markasreadwiki=metawiki#c-Ruy-2022-05-29T20:04:00.000Z-Global_lock_for_Carmallola). I'm not sure about reasons, because in case of the spanish wiki I only edited 3 pages refered to Catalonia history, adding only two sentences in each one, nothing offensive, nothing mad, and obviously with references. It was erased and it was asked to block me in the spanish wiki. I assume the info did not fit with "patriotic" spanish history (I don't know if you are aware of current political situation in Spain, with a fast and dangerous involution to ultranationalist (Franco dictatorship) values). I do hope you are a neutral guy, so any advice/help will be welcome. Carmallola (talk) 07:06, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
According to your block in es.wiki, you are the sockpuppet of Editant (talk · contribs), an account that is banned from editing there. The block was performed through a WP:Check user block, so I cannot do anything else than recommend you to stop editing the website(s) in which you are banned from editing and follow the respective WP:Unblocking procedures. Many thanks for your comments. I understand that to accuse and immediately block someone, but also to ask for global blocking, by writting two phrases (normal ones, with no strange things in it) is something a little extreme. It would be good to check the IP's for example or anything else first. Anyway, I learned that the spanish wiki is not a place for me, so I don't mind if their block remains. What would angry is a global block. Upon advice I forwarded my case to the Stewards. Elsewhere, thanks again for your comments. Carmallola (talk) 06:31, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
