Name Misunderstanding ~ The name Cascadianow is in no way representative of the 'Cascadian Independence Project'. This is like claiming someone using the user name 'Cascadia' represents everyone within the bioregion. I have had this username for several years, just as the Cascadian Independence Project has also been around for years and there has been NO conflict before, or mention of conflict of interests. When I make comments, I make them as an individual, not as an organization or with any sort of authority. My primary edits reflect additions to Cascadia (surprise) but in are in no way are promotional. I mean for god sakes, I started the Cascadia article, back before it was even split into (independence movement) 3 or 4 years ago. In that time, I think it has turned into a fantastic resource for people to learn more about what Cascadia is in a general sense. I have not made any promotional or self promotional edits and am somewhat offended by this whole process. I think that the Cascadian Independence Project has a total of one sentence in the entire article mentioning its existence, under 'Secessionist Activism' along with all the other organizations that advocate for a version of Cascadia, and I think that is totally reasonable. I have not sought to alter this in any way or add more. It is my goal to create a comprehensive resource about everything Cascadia and to make that as accessible as possible. As a recent history graduate I try to present an unbiased and accurate accounts for often times information that does not previously exist on wikipedia such as - documenting statistics, creating and uploading maps and photographs and digging up obscure passages about Cascadia in academic and news articles. I am slightly offended that after the years of editing that I have been doing with no previous problems now I have now been blocked. A second opinion would be very much appreciated
