February 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article UFC Undisputed 2010, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to EA Sports MMA. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Ben Ben (talk) 08:29, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Moving articles[edit]

Please keep in mind that when you move an article, you should also move its corresponding talk page. You failed to do this with the UFC article. I have reverted the move any how. The abbreviation does not belong in the article title. Thank you. --TreyGeek (talk) 14:04, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a follow up, please read WP:TITLE in regards to naming conventions for article titles. In particular, article titles should use the common name among many other factors. A common name for a video game does not include dashes (-). I requested an admin to revert your move. In the future, please be more aware of Wikipedia guidelines on article titles before making moves. --TreyGeek (talk) 14:00, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ginásio da Portuguesa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of UFC events, you will be blocked from editing. Your recent edits have been a massive problem for the MMA pages, whether it be ridiculous page moves or silly edits. You saw the reasoning for 117 not being added to this list, not once, but twice and yet you still decide to change it despite being asked not to. Cut this out. [edit]

The thumbnail was broken on your UFC logo edit so I had to revert it so the article could have a logo again Hutcher (talk) 05:19, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
