Sophie Hoechstetter[edit]

Hi, this source for Hoechstetter says 1878 as date of birth. Misprint? Blythwood (talk) 12:25, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Blythwood: The German Wikipedia, the German Digital Library, the German National Library, this source and this source say 1873.--Cavaliere grande (talk) 12:31, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • No worries. Might also be worth clarifying that she didn't die at Dachau concentration camp, as given the date and location that was what I immediately assumed. Blythwood (talk) 12:41, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Incidentally, this source says 1878, but that could be copying the same mistake. She might even have lied about her age... Blythwood (talk) 12:43, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Can be possible. So I really know nothing about it.--Cavaliere grande (talk) 13:14, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Paul Reinecke for deletion[edit]

This is a courtesy message to notify you that the article Paul Reinecke is being considered for deletion. All editors, including you, are welcome to discuss this at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul Reinecke until a consensus is reached. The nomination and discussion are expected to focus on the quality of evidence and the policies and guidelines which are of concern. Please be aware that there are a number of arguments to avoid in a deletion discussion.

Users are encouraged to edit the article during the discussion, particularly in ways that address the concerns raised in that discussion. However, please do not attempt to remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article— doing so may be considered an act of bad faith and will not halt the deletion process. Thank you! WARNING[edit]

You have continued to create unreferenced/unclearly referenced articles on living people, despite previous messages, suchas at Wolfgang Freyberg. Please stop and go back and add your source. If you have any questions, please ping me. Boleyn (talk) 11:17, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As you have continued to create dodgy articles, I have moved Thomas Philipp to draftspace. Please stop and reference properly the articles you have created. Boleyn (talk) 21:29, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Marie-Luise Heckmann) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Marie-Luise Heckmann, Cavaliere grande!

Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

YOu have continued to edit Wikipedia but have not addressed the serious concerns brought to your attention. We cannot have articles no living people with no sources. This has no sources; external links are usuallu 'friendly suggestions', but if these are actually your sources, please correct the heading and WP:INLINECITE. Inline citations are far easier for the reader and are required for biographies of living people. FOr the moment, I am moving this to Draft:Marie-Luise Heckmann. Please work on it there, and when it is sourced, move it back. However, it shows absolutely no indication of why she is notable. Please see WP:PROF and WP:GNG, as well as WP:RS, WP:INLINECITE and WP:Communication is required.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wolfgang Kosack, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 13:51, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Does not appear to meet WP:ANYBIO, WP:ACADEMIC, or WP:NAUTHOR. No evidence of any heavy citing of his work at [[1]], or of other significant coverage. The only reference in the article uses him in one footnote about one minor point. Even in de:Wolfgang Kosack (robotranslation), the claims don't support notability (no coverage of Japanische Manga - Love Story or Die Mänlichen Krefte der Liebe; one 3 month exhibition at Bonn Egyptian Museum (note total 3000 objects) from his donated collection without apparently significant coverage). No permission to restore sought or granted at WP:DRV. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~

Hallo Magenta moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Hallo Magenta, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
