Brandon Soo Hoo

Hi there. I really appreciate your contributions to the article on Brandon Soo Hoo. I've reverted some of your changes, though. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so the language must reflect that. If an article sounds too much like an advertisement, press release, or teen magazine article, it will be edited heavily, and could even be deleted. I think that having an article on Brandon Soo Hoo, or any other actor in a major film, is important, so I really don't want to see that happen. Second, listing everyone else who was in a show or film is not really important to the article at hand. If readers want to know who else played in that particular thing, they can just click on the show's link. Third, some personal information is not important from an encyclopedic stand point, such as what his dog's name is. I'm sure there are many people interested in that, but they should be looking for it on a social networking or promotional website, and not in an encyclopedia. Finally, Wikipedia is not a source for original research. You say you are his mother, but we don't really know that. I'm sure that you are, but you can't use that as the source of the information included. Anyone could say they are his mother and edit in all kinds of crazy things, and no one wants that. So anyway, thanks for your help with the article, and I'm sure no one cares more about the quality of it more than you do, so please keep up the great work.GreenGlass1972 (talk) 02:22, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
