A tag has been placed on Antique Amritsar Rugs and Carpets from India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. July 2010[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Empty Buffer (talk) 14:06, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Abadeh rug. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Empty Buffer (talk) 14:12, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Konya carpets, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Empty Buffer (talk) 14:16, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for spamming or advertising. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

You have blocked my account due to "spamming", however, the source of the information is on the website that I have indicated. Antique rugs and carpets are relevant to collectors, buyers and appraisers. The references for the information on these antique pieces is the website, as well as the book/s I have on the reference list as well. It is hardly spamming when the New York Times has featured Nazmiyal carpets as well. The company holds the information I needed to write factual content on these antique rugs and carpets; Most of these pieces do not even appear on Wikipedia, and therefore I find it necessary that there be accurate information provided to those interested. I'm insulted that you would accuse me of spamming when I was merely citing relevant sources to my articles. If you could please unblock my account so that I may continue my work posting relevant information on these antique rugs and carpets; I will be sure to only link to a site if it proves necessary.

Decline reason:

I'm sorry you feel insulted. I'm not satisfied that you would alter your behavior based on the response above. This particular link appears to be part of a campaign of inappropriate use as well; could you explain your relationship to Antiquerugs32 (talk · contribs), Nazmiyal (talk · contribs), G329 (talk · contribs) and Antiquerugexpert (talk · contribs)? Thanks! Kuru (talk) 15:38, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
