Here is your deleted text. There is nothing to stop you putting it on your user page, of course.

Summary[edit]

Every year, a group of loyal Virginia Tech alumni get together to celebrate the changing of the year by "getting away" and celebrating together. To date, the celebration has always taken place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The tradition started in 2004-2005, with a trip to Duck, NC. In 2005-2006, the tradition continued in Corolla, NC. In 2006-2007, the group found themselves in South Nags Head, NC.

Proposed deletion of International Sushi Day[edit]

The article International Sushi Day has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not indicate encyclopedic notability. A single Facebook marketing event can't be an "annual observance celebrated".

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Jeandré (talk), 2009-10-10t20:04z 20:04, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
