Italian fake parties on wikipedia

I think that these 2 pages should be deleted: Lega Padana Lombardia and Lombardy Project. As i've written in their "discussion" these parties don't exist actually and never existed in the past. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.33.133.92 (talk) 17:30, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New York City Meetup

Next: Saturday May 22nd, OpenPlans in Lower Manhattan
Last: 03/21/2010
This box: view  talk  edit

In the afternoon, we will hold a session dedicated to meta:Wikimedia New York City activities, review the recent Wikimedia Chapters Meeting 2010, plan for the next stages of projects like Wiki-Conference NYC and Wikipedia Cultural Embassy, and hold salon-style group discussions on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects (see the March meeting's minutes).

In the evening, we'll share dinner and chat at a local restaurant, and generally enjoy ourselves and kick back.

You can add or remove your name from the New York City Meetups invite list at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC/Invite list.

To keep up-to-date on local events, you can also join our mailing list.

Barnstar: Great Irony

The Barnstar of Good Humor
Hi, since you awarded a Barnstar for Modesty here, here is yours. Of course, your use of "Modesty" gave it away -DePiep (talk) 00:51, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
While I am highly ironic, and have a great sense of humor, in particular in the face of Serious Business, I was earnest in that barnstar. The "modest" there is not about the editor, but about the edit itself. He took a completely nasty POV paragraph and turned it, with a few modest edits, into an encyclopedia worthy one. Its part of my policy of celebrating good edits when people do it against the grain of what they hold to be the truth, because we all know truth is not what we are about... perhaps you should consider awarding me this barnstar, which I obviously covet, for some other reason, but here I was being earnest, not ironic...--Cerejota (talk) 05:39, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
