Hi and welcome! The first step was to change your username, which you did. The next hurdle will be the article itself. The original content was simply XOP Networks, Inc. is a multinational corporation. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, it designs and sells communications technology, communications equipment, and services. That's a good opening statement, but it does not in any way establish the notability of the company and is far too short for inclusion. For instance, what other companies does it operate in? You might want to take a look at WP:CORP for a better idea of what should go into an article about a company. In short, it should have the opening statement as above plus a history of the company supported by verifiable third-party references in print or other media. Remember to keep the tone very dry and neutral and avoid making the article read like an advertisement. If you wish, you can compose the article online but off the article space via a user subpage. User:Cgupta731/XOP Networks will link you to that page. WP:YFA is an excellent overview on what should go in one's first article. There are also thousands of users such as myself willing to step in and help, so dig in, have fun and feel free to ask questions. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:09, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, if you can establish the notability of the company as I'd suggested, it would certainly be OK. You might wish to avail yourself of the subpage feature I'd told you about in the last message. Good luck and have fun. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 20:07, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
