Concerning Ad-Up and Deletionists[edit]

In Ur Base, Killing Ur Dorfs here. Wouldn't you be happier with me announcing that I am a Deletionist (and putting it in my userboxes) rather than hiding it?

When I said ClickZ was pushing press releases, it's because I've had articles speedied and AfD'd before that used that site, and they *do* put out press releases. I'm sorry if your article is important to you -- I had an article of mine that *I* felt was relevant get deleted. But -- at least to people like me -- unless a business is a household term, it SHOULDN'T be in Wikipedia , really.

When I read the article, I don't know anything that I didn't know before -- and THAT is why , in my book, it fails the Delete test. --Shrieking Harpy Talk|Count 23:56, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree. Thank you for being civil. --Shrieking Harpy Talk|Count 22:48, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Stop Political Calls[edit]

A tag has been placed on Stop Political Calls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. CelesJalee (talk) 15:36, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
