Hello Chiropractor. My name is Orane (but I go by the name 'Journalist' on Wikipedia) and I am one of Wikipedia's Administrators. I just stopped by to say Hi and to formally welcome you to Wikipedia. Welcome on board! I hope you can provide some good editing on the chiropractic articles. I'm a chiroskeptic myself, but hope that true and real chiropractic viewpoints are included in the articles. They of course can't be presented to "sell" chiropractic, but the viewpoints themselves need to be presented accurately, factually, and verifiably. Such viewpoints can easily be presented as "some chiropractors believe.....," or some such wording. Such statements will also need to be accompanied by verifiable sources, preferably from research or chiropractic publications, not normally from private homepages of chiropractors. I hope we can cooperate in this venture. It's actually quite interesting. Oh. Thanks for the welcome. Whilst I understand that scientists claim that they cannot find subluxions, I think the fundamentals of chiropractic require us to not only believe in them but to treat them. My experience, whilst anecdotal, shows to me that subluxions do cause all kinds of disease. I don't think the chiropractors who no longer believe in subluxions have any right to call themselves chiropractors. If you don't believe in Jesus you can't call yourself a Christian. Even though I don't believe in VS, I understand chiropractic, and you do too. The VS is the foundation of chiropractic: no VS, no chiropractic. A DC who doesn't believe in the VS - and who doesn't adjust for the purpose of correcting subluxations - is a chiropractor in name only. -- Fyslee 19:34, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
