Deleted article review[edit]

Question, I was looking up an article that I had worked on but it had been deleted. When I checked the deletion log, it said that it had been removed b/c of "expired prod, also non-notable". While the non-notable is debatable, what does expired prod mean? Shirley Ku 20:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any way to reinstate that article? B/c I know understand the expired prod but I don't think that the subject is non-notable. Shirley Ku 20:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The name of the article was "Mark Masterson". He's the writer of a comic book called Dorothy.Shirley Ku 03:58, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are there any guidelines for what constitutes a notable person? I tried looking for one but didn't find any. B/c being notable isn't cut and dry. I'll look at the undeleting review process too.

Please review my post.[edit]

Hey Cholmes75,

You were helping me create an article back in November for Sportsvite. The site has grown since then and I have tried to create a new and accurate article on my temp page. Can you please give it a look and let me know how I can improve before I make it live.

Steve Hackett/tapping[edit]

The cited article says that Hackett "learned" tapping in 1971 -- that's not the same as saying he was one of the first guitarists to do it. Check out the separate article on tapping, it mentions a number of guitarists -- like Emmett Chapman, Harry DeArmond, Jimmie Webster, etc. -- all of whom used the technique at least a decade before Hackett did.

Many Hackett fans have tried to discredit Eddie Van Halen with inventing tapping. While this may be true, to give full credit to Hackett is just as wrong. Jphillst 15:46, 16 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

I see the Raiders FAC wasn't promoted, that's unfortunate because it looks like it was mostly due to not getting enough responses. I was busy with the Michael Jordan FAC, but since I'm a football fan if you send me a message next time it's up for FA I'll be sure to review it. Hopefully next time enough people will review it, because it's a shame to see an FAC fail due mainly to the fact that nobody reviewed it. Quadzilla99 16:32, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
