License tagging for Image:RD33MK.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RD33MK.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Bad fair use of Image:Bottom OLS.jpg[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Bottom OLS.jpg, by Russavia (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Bottom OLS.jpg is an image with a clearly invalid fair use tag; or it is an image that fails some part of the non-free content criteria and the uploader has been given 48 hours' notification (for images uploaded after 2006-07-13) or seven days' notification (for images uploaded before that date). My awb edits[edit]

I have responded to your comment on my talk page, but I decided it would be best to respond here as well. If you could give me the diff, or at least the page name you are worried about, I can check over my edit to make sure it is correct. However, if I understood you correctly, you were saying that each term in the sentence was supposed to be pluralized. Indeed, if this is correct, then my edit was merely to insert the correctly pluralized "aircraft", as "aircrafts" is not a word in common usage. Sub article for RMAF?[edit]

Thanks for the comment on the RMAF article, I had created the sub-article in September to better follow the style used in other air force articles for aircraft fleets. The RMAF was long-winded and did contain some wrong entries. I forgot to remove the original tables then so I thought I had better tidy up. Agree that the rest of the RMAF article could do with a cleanup, although some bits are OK. MilborneOne (talk) 19:22, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Malaysian Army[edit]

Just so you'd know, I have stepped in to intervene and I have merged the page Royal Malaysian Army back with Malaysian Army, this is legitimate formatting change (Read WP:MOS). Anyone who attempts to revert this would constitute a violation of the 3 Revert Rule (Read WP:3RR) and I have also warned those few buggers who kept insisting on putting the Royal prefix when it isn't supposed to be there. -- Dave1185 (talk) 01:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

IF you have read the page Malaysian Army, you will see that it is Royal no more. I have set the pages of Royal Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysia Army and Malaysia Army to redirect to the current page. As I have noticed, those few buggers who keep insisting on putting the prefix "Royal" will get a hard time this time when I invoke the 3RR (Read WP:3RR), should they try to be funny. Now why would I want to warn you against something you never did? I know that they kept insisting on adding the prefix 'Royal' and you did deleted it a couple of times but they sock puppet it this time by switching the header from Malaysian Army to Royal Malaysian Army when they made the former page redirected to the latter page, hence the reason why I stepped in and reverted the whole thing, check the edit history of both pages and you will see the bigger picture. Hi, since you are the primary contributor in the article, so I am asking you. I think the Commanders of the RMN section need to be wikified. Can you please write the names of the military personnel in small letter instead of all caps. And it will be good to add some references for the "History" section. Thanks. Mig 35[edit]

Someone has been constantly adding f-16(block 50/52) and j-10 to the list of comparble aircraft.I really don't know if thats true.Every time I revert it someone reverts again. File permission problem with File:RD-33.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:RD-33.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
