1982 Commonwealth Games medal winners[edit]

Hi. Thank you for adding the information about medals by events for the 1982 Commonwealth Games. Your work is very much appreciated.

However, could you please create new pages for each of the events, as I have done for the Athletics medals (with the information you supplied about the Athletics events). Thanks.

The reason for this request is because the page will become extremely long if all the events are added to the main article page for the Games. Therefore, the creation of new pages for each of the events is essential to avoid this happening.

I will create a new page for the Archery medals for the 1982 Commonwealth Games. Figaro 14:07, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

categories[edit]

Hi Chris, If an article is in category "Museums in York" it doesn't need "Museums in Yorkshire" too, as the former is a subcategory of the latter. I've removed a few you've added. PamD (talk) 14:53, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Arlene Dahl[edit]

Why did you change Dahl's year of birth? She was born in 1925 per the 1930 United States Census (Hennepin County, Minnesota). Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 20:52, 22 October 2009 (UTC) Sorry, my mistake - it wasn't you. My bad!! Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 21:05, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Chris fardon! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 8 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 945 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 19:20, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 4[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Little, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Andrew Little and Anna Little (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Nefertiti, Queen of the Nile has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NFILM, tagged for notability earlier in October 2022

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
