Okay, here's what we need from you to try to help. Please log out of Wikipedia, then make an edit to Wikipedia:Sandbox. You'll get an error message. Copy all of the text you see.

IP Banned[edit]

I found my IP (Dot Com Infoway) blocked from any usage of wikipedia pages. I apologize for the series of issues that has happened which led to ban the IP. I request your help to overcome it and get my IPs removed from your black list. Please let me know the procedure.

Dotcom Infoway Pvt. Ltd[edit]

I've looked into this and can confirm that the IP address you want unblocked is banned from editing Wikipedia, as is User:Stephenlewis. This is because the IP address, plus a large number of sockpuppet accounts spent two years repeatedly adding unwanted external links. Due to the prolonged and systemic nature of the abuse, I am not inclined to lift this block and find it unlikely that anyone else will be willing to do so either.

You can, if you wish, continue to edit Wikipedia yourself through this account; but any addition of external links with AdSense (or related) links or to sites listed on User talk:59.145.89.17 will result in this account being blocked immediately and indefinitely.

I'm sorry if this is not the outcome you hoped for. I have understood the seriousness only when I noticed the page where you have mentioned the company name with the details on spam. After which we have stopped all our activities in wikipedia for more than two months only after which I request for unblock. I will ensure that we won't indulge in such kind of activities here on and will make sure that we will be a good contributor for wikipedia. This has affected me a lot and build a bad reputation on us. It would be helpful that if you could atleast remove the details from this page link alone and let the editing ban remain the same. Given the long-term (two whole years of continual addition of promotional links to a not-for-profit encyclopedia funded by charitable donations) nature of the abuse, we need to keep a record of it in order to watch for it happening again. Therefore the link you provided has to remain. The abuse was done in public, so the monitoring of the abuse is also done in public. I apologize that I'm really unaware that the event has taken place for two whole years. I was only notified it few months back after which we have stopped all activities in Wikipedia. After waiting for few months only I have raised the request. I'll ensure that we don't spam it here on can you at least let me know any possibility on when this page and its details will be removed. Please help[edit]

Its been two years, I have been contacting Wikipedia on removing the block for the website Dot Com Infoway and Galatta. There isn't any case of abuse or violation of terms by us till now. It would be really helpful if anyone can update me on our status.
