I AM WORKING ON THE PAGE ABOUT THE BAND THE 27 VARIOUS! GIVE ME A CHANCE TO GET THE ARTICLE DONE BEFORE YOU DELETE IT! I CANNOT JUST WAVE A MAGIC WAND AND IT APPEARS. IT TAKE A WHILE TO TYPE IN THE INFORMATION OK? I'M GOING TO ADD MORE INFORMATION TONIGHT. CHILL OUT!

This is your last warning. The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --esanchez, Camp Lazlo fan! 06:57, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WHY IS THIS DELETION NOTICE ON MY ARTICLE, GIVE ME A REASON SO I CAN CORRECT IT. ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA THERE'S 20 OR SO DIFFERENT ONES AND SOME OF THEME ARE VERY DIFFERENT AND DO NOT RELATE TO MY ARTIC LE AND OTHER ONES DO. HELP ME OUT. DELETING THE PAGE OVER AND OVER UNTIL I GET IT CORRECT WILL NOT HELP. LETTING ME CORRECT ALREADY DONE WORK WILL. HELP ME OUT.

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. Also, the article says a way to avoid deletion of the article. So, read it! --esanchez, Camp Lazlo fan! 07:15, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that you are acting in an uncivil manner. Please remain civil and don't resort to making personal attacks or instigating edit wars. 07:16, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

What do you think is wrong with my page. Give me some specific reasons, this is work in progress. I find small pages with less information than mine all the time. Give me something I can use so you can stop atticking me! Ok! I'm not asking too much. If you're going to destroy my work, at least let me know why, fair?

Your pages are in the style of an advertisement, and they are about topics which may not be notable enough. Academic Challenger 07:38, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uh...yeah, albums are essentially products. So, I guess...all pages about musicians should be removed because they're essentially all advertisements. So in effect only articles about things that cannot be purchased can be on wikipedia. Great. Whatever. WHY IS IT A BIG DEAL TO YOU ANYWAY? GET A LIFE AND FIND ANOTHER WAY TO SATISFY YOUR NEED FOR INANE CONTROL.

Look, Academic Challenger is saying the format you typed it. It looks like an advetisment-kind of way. I mean, it's not in a proper format. --esanchez, Camp Lazlo fan! 07:42, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LOOK, INSTEAD OF REMOVING THE INFORMATION COMPLETELY (MAKING IF UNAVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE HOW IT LOOKS) MAYBE YOU COULD REFORMAT IT, HOW LONG COULD IT TAKE? GIVE ME SOME POINTERS MAYBE, HELP ME OUT. YOU CLAIN I'M BEING UNCIVIL? I'M ASKING FOR HELP, THAT'S WHAT WIKIPEDIA IS...ENCYCLOPEDIA ARTICLES CREATED BY A COMMUNITY OF PEOPLE...NOT ARTICLES CONTINUALLY DELETED OVER AND OVER UNTIL THEY ARE DONE RIGHT BY ONE PERSON.

Oh yeah. Typing your messages in capitals... that's being civil.... Look, it's the way you typed it. I don't know the band, so I can't edit it. So, try cleaning it up. --esanchez, Camp Lazlo fan! 07:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not target one or more user's pages or talk pages for abuse or insults, unwarranted doctoring or blanking, as you did with User:Academic Challenger. It can be seen as vandalism and may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dave6 07:52, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Let's start again[edit]

Firstly I want to apologise for the rather unfreindly way that you have been treated. There has been some newbie biting going on here thats not very welcoming. People - try talking instead of using templates.

Secondly I removed the speedy tag, as it doesn't look like an obvious sppedy to me. I don't know the band. I don't know if they are real or famous enough to merit an article. It could well be that the article deserves to be deleted so if people want that to happen they should put it on WP:AFD and we will discuss it. At least that way you get a chance to improve the article first.

Thirdly, we generally differentiate our replies by indenting them rather than using capital letters. (All caps is considered shouting and rude). We do this by prefixing our writing with a colon :

like this.

Finally blanking people's talk pages is childish and rude. If you ever do it again I will block you from editing. No excuses. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Formal appology[edit]

look, I'm sorry for all this...I only capitalized my additions to this talk page so you could find them easier, seriously. You may not know much about the group, but look...you could do the research. Every single page on wikipedia has some research done for it. I wasn't born with the knowledge of the group, I had to research it. Anyway, that's not the point. I could see if the group's albums were local releases or CD-Rs made by the group themselves that they were not relevant to Wikipedia. Especially if they had no releases at all. But this group was big enough for me to purchase one of their alb ums at a Borders in Chicago. That warrents a Wikipedia page. If you're big enough to be found at a mainstream music store, such as Borders, then you deserve to be on Wikipedia. Enough said. Thank you for removing the deletion notice. I am sorry, I did remove the information from some user pages that I shouldn't have. I am sorry. Let's just leave the page as is. Do some research on the group and you'll see the trouble I had to just come up with what is there. Anyway, sorry. Let's call a cease fire. Oh, by the way, I noticed that someone put a posting on my talk page about our fighting.

You not fighting with me! I apologise on behalf of my fellow editors about they way they treated you so mechanically. A cease fire sounds good to me. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ok, ok, why is this page being concidered for deletion? Does someone have it out for this group? I'm just trying to go through the various sources (the few of them there are) about this group and compile them for people who want to learn about this group.

The main criterion for any page here is - is the information verifiable? If you can provide good sources for all the info you add then it is unlikely that the page would be deleted. If good sources do not exist then the info cannot be verified and so the page will likely be deleted. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:13, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet accounts[edit]

Logging out, creating a new user, logging in and using that new account to try and support you is called sockpuppetry here and is widely frowned apon here. You lose all credibility when you do it. I'm going to delete your sockpuppet's contributions now. If you have something to say, do it as yourself. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:18, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What the hell?[edit]

What is this about? Fighting like this? This is not in the spirit of wikipedia. I like the group The 27 Various and understand what the unnamed person is saying about the information being hard to find. They're my favorite group when it comes to pop styled rock music. I like their retro sound. I'm getting off track...Stop fighting, I feel the information is relevant. Leave it alone. The information is varifible at the links on the bottom of the page. Stop fighting and take the time to read the page before you delete it. The information comes from the two labels the groups albums were released under. They're the best sources as far as I am concerned. Just stop, do not delete articles tyou have not fully read, ok? I like the group, I like the article, and leave it alone. SuperCoolGuyAwsome 08:16, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

not me[edit]

Look SuperCoolDudeAwsomeDude, whatever, is not me, I never use the word Dude, I believe he said Yo at some point, I do not use the word yo, and I do not swear. It is not me, just because someone does not agree with you does not mean they are me. Other people like this group too you know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrisnabity (talkcontribs)

Deletion debate[edit]

OK a debate has started on whether to delete at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The 27 Various you can put your arguments there. These debates generally last 5 days so you have plently of time to expand the article, which I very strongly encorage you to do. Note that using sockpuppets there on the debate page will seriously undermine your arguments. The best way to help keep the page is expand, add lots of references and argue your points clearly, as yourself, on the debate page. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:30, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What on Earth?[edit]

I'm not sure you are cut out for this place. I'm trying my best to help you but you are acting like a child. Why on Earth with you put my a AFD notice on my talk page? Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:43, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To SuperCoolGuyAwsome --- Sorry, but it's difficult to believe that you arrived out of nowhere just to support the 'other' editor's article creations. See post above re sockpuppet - if indeed you are a different person, then don't sit in the talk page complsin but make the articel worth keeping by proving it's notable in the article. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 08:44, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

what?[edit]

What does "make the articel worth keeping by proving it's notable in the article" mean? Specifically "providing it's notable in the article" what? providing what's notable in the article? SuperCoolManAwsome cannot take a suggestion he cannot understand, unless he speaks gibberish too. well, yeah, he did say Dudes and Yo, lol — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrisnabity (talkcontribs)

It means go the article, and add enough content to demonstrate that the band is famous enough to warrent an entry in Wikipedia. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:52, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To Chrisnabity

You have removed several user warning templates from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here How to archive a talk page. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 08:48, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've given you a short block for disruption. It will give you a chance to calm down and stop acting so silly. I'm going offline for now but you will still be able to edit this talk page whilste blocked. I am assuming that you are a child so I'll be extra patient. However disruptive behavior will not be tolerated forever. Wikipedia is a serious project. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 08:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WHATEVER[edit]

Okay, I'm going to bed. Unlike some people I do have a life. I just think it's funny. I don't care one bit, but you seem to get your panties in a bunch over this. Lol. I was only egging you on. Wow, the best thing to do to someone like me is to ignor me. I'll go away. Your parents never taught you that. they must have told you to keep yelling at the person until they stop annyoing you because that works very well. LOL! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrisnabity (talkcontribs)

When you come back, please sign all your posts so people can understand who said what. See Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages (and note that yelling IS MAKING MESSAGES THAT LOOK LIKE THIS and someday has been doing that) and PPS, real Wikipedians don;t ever sleep--ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 08:57, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting AfD notices[edit]

Please do not remove[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHellGateBridge 16:10, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
