Susan Boyle[edit]

I understand that you did the artwork for the article. Very nice! I wish I had that kind of talent. ;) — Ched :  ?  19:58, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ched, thank you very much! :)

I like the drawing, too. Somehow I think it's more appropriate than a photo. Cognita (talk) 06:12, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Cognita, I appreciate your words and agree with you - it's kind of refreshing to see a different picture of her. Chrisurlaub (talk) 09:46, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Art[edit]

Hey Chris. I just noticed that there's some new Susan Boyle artwork. It's been a while since I really looked at the article, and I just happened to pop in and noticed the new drawing/painting ... I know that in any of the discussions the idea that WP:ILIKEIT doesn't hold any water - but I did want to say ... "I REALLY LIKE IT"! LOL ... Wow, I think you are so talented, great work and thank you! I hope the Wikipedia community shares my thoughts, but I'm sure you've run across your share of art critics over the years too. Just wanted you to know that from a completely untalented, and clueless editor (in regards to art), that I really do appreciate your work and talent. ;) — Ched :  ?  05:37, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, thank you very much! This time I took more care in painting a nice looking image and - perhaps as important - without running into any copyright issues. Guess it works, but we will see :) Again: thx for your support! All the best, Chrisurlaub (talk) 10:55, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Crumb[edit]

In regards to your painting, I had to remove it from the article because it has your signature on it. Could you re-make the file without your signature? Then I can place it back into the article. Thanks, Kingturtle = (talk) 15:34, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes I can fix this. Is it possible to replace an existing image on Wikimedia? Well, we will see - I will send you a message when it is done. Chrisurlaub
Hi again, it worked, a new version without the signature is available. All the best, Chrisurlaub
