Please update your status with WP:VG[edit]

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in the recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Nomination of Ciaran Gultnieks article for deletion[edit]

Hi. I have nominated this article for deletion, which will be discussed by the wikipedia community to reach a consensus. As the subject of the article, I thought it polite to inform you. The deletion discussion can be found here. Thanks. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 22:18, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, appreciated. CiaranG (talk) 22:56, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So, I'm not going to comment on the AfD either way (especially as it's a very poor article in any case), but it seems to me that item 3 under 'Creative Professionals' in WP:BIO applies many times over, regardless of the lack of references to paper-based coverage (which I daresay nobody in the world other than me had the inclination to collect and save). Another gentle ping from WP:VG[edit]

Dear CiaranG,

You are receiving this message because either [[Category:WikiProject Video games members]] or {{User WPVG}} is somewhere in your userspace, and you are currently listed in the "Unknown" section on the project's member list.

The member list is meant to provide a clearer picture of active membership. It is recommended that you update your status if you plan to regularly:

Members listed in the "Unknown" section will be removed from the membership list and category at the end of January 2010. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Sincerely, the Video Games WikiProject (delivery by xenobot 21:43, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Croome Park[edit]

Hi CiaranG! An article you have been involved with has been tagged by its parent project as being in need of considerable attention to avoid risk of deletion. If you can help with these minor issues please see Talk:Croome Park#Multiple issuesKudpung (talk)

Yes there are indeed a lot of issues to be addressed, that's why it was tagged! As it's rather a potentially important article (at least for Worcestershire), as an active Wikipedian with a reputation for making such fixes, instead of just reiterating what is already known, perhaps you would like to have a go at addressing some of them. It might not be an immediate candidate for AfD - which it most certainly can be - but I will not be the one to nominate it, hence my call for someone to do something about it. However, if all the unsourced items are removed - which certainly can, and might be by some of our more trigger happy editors- all that will remain will be a one-line stub.--Kudpung (talk) 01:19, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beat you to it! Best. --GuillaumeTell 17:56, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Wayward Design[edit]

The article Wayward Design has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you. This proposed deletion was started by User:Piotrus

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
