July 2023[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Ciaran mcmenamin", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it indicates that you are a notable person.. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. If you are, in fact, Ciarán McMenamin, please go to this link and follow the instructions there. PriusGod (talk) 21:32, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would be very careful about your editing until you reach out to our volunteer response team at info-en@wikimedia.org. By editing an article about a subject you share a username with, without attesting that you are not that person and without having proven that you are, you are at risk of being blocked indefinitely for impersonating that individual. I'll be rolling back your edits as there appears to be some neutral point of view issues with them - while it is not explicitly prohibited to edit articles about yourself, it is strongly discouraged as it can be very easy while writing about oneself to begin to introduce violations regarding our neutral point of view policy.
