Re: Timelines[edit]

The handbook is here. It's not the simplest syntax to work with, especially when things like linking to articles come into play. The first graph uses a really complicated hack with multiple imagemaps and 2 images. I'm not really sure if that can be made simpler, though it would sure be nice. As you might have noticed, I have made an effort to simplify some of the tables and graphs a bit. As a result some of the formatting like the centering of the tables might currently be removed. I did this on purpose reasoning that it should be easier to rearrange these things after I finished the cleanup work. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 14:35, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm mostly done with that page for today. I might think about finding a way to make that first graph less complicated, but it might be hard to do so without breaking it. The page is a lot cleaner now, which will hopefully help it develop a bit further. There were quite a few broken tables and mismatching HTML tags in the page that should now be almost all fixed. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 15:09, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Airbus A380 (not) on Aerolíneas Argentinas[edit]

Hi, can you please add a citation as to why grupo Marsans isn't buying 4 A380's anymore? Everywhere i've seen (including an airbus press-release[1] ) states the opposite.

Cheers, Nelievsky (talk) 10:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Look what I write, there is a MOU but not a firm order. It should be firmed to include as an order. It may happens, but until yet, only Grupo Marsans has these MOU with Airbus. Look what the text of the picture also was, thanks! Airbus states: "Grupo Marsans to order a total of 61 aircraft including four A380s and ten A350 XWBs " To order, not "has ordered". I'm sorry I used "actually", that was wrong, it should read "not yet". Also LOI and not MOU. (→Privatization and near-collapse: A380 Image and text removed, actually not ordered, there was an LOI of G.Marsans. It is not ordered as May 2008) Look also the discussion page of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Airbus_A380_orders_and_deliveries, cheers.Cirrocumulus (talk) 13:09, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, i understood what you meant. I was trying to figure out if the order from grupo marsans should be wiped completely from the list of A380 orders, and from the aerolineas argentinas article itself. Was there any timeline agreed between airbus and grupo marsans to firm the order? Cheers, Nelievsky (talk) 00:38, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, it is a MOU, normally it get signed at a point. In the list of A380 is not counting for the orders. I don't know, with the recent changes in Aerolineas Argentinas, what does it mean. My opinion, don't count as a order until signed. But signaling it as a MOU should be OK (Aerolineas Argentinas article has something like that also). Sortable Table[edit]

Please note that only one row can be marked with class="sortbottom". Please stop destroying sortable tables by adding more than one row. Doing otherwise results in the marked rows being sorted with each other, which usually is not the intended behavior. Help:Sorting#Excluding the last row from sorting Please stop destroying the Template:Dts2 in the date column (List of Airbus A350 orders). The align:right statement for a date is used in several aviation tables. (For example:List of Boeing 747-8 orders) Please stop your unhelpful edits. Thanks. 92.73.94.112 (talk) 16:03, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I apologise if I had damaged those tables. I did not knew of the problem. I will take a look at this. About the align:right, it looks not "normal", as used in books, etc. What is the reason behind to use it? I asked there but there was no answer. You may also use a talk page, it would be easier to ask you directly, thanks.Cirrocumulus (talk) 22:49, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Seat configurations of the Airbus A380. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Seat configurations of the Airbus A380. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
