License tagging for File:Dundas loch snow.JPG

Thanks for uploading File:Dundas loch snow.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Unexplained deletion of images

Greetings Citizenthom,

please do not undo other user’s edits without a short explanation.
It appears you are removing (rather useful) images, that you authored and uploaded yourself to Commons, from Wikipedia articles. Is there an issue with these files? It would be good to communicate about it so there are no frustrations among article editors. Do you need help or advice from the community? Ariadacapo (talk) 19:41, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

What is the issue with the files? Is there a copyright problem? The creative commons licensing cannot be revoked, and there is no reason why anyone would be prevented from adding them back to the articles. Removal of contributions simply because the author changes their mind is hard to enforce and not customary on Wikipedia. Can you please expand on your explanation before removing the file entirely? Maybe we can help. The wingtip vortex image certainly is a very valuable image. Ariadacapo (talk) 19:37, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
