Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to B. P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. @Thomas.W:: The links which you said as inappropriate are actually the link for photo album of the fest/workshops that took place in the respective college to which they were added. The links are completely relevant and I can't understand your point of confusion.

They're not the least relevant. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a social networking site, or a collection of links. Thomas.W ^talk 18:07, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

????? Events taking place there might be relevant, provided they're properly sourced, but your external links are not. I suggest you follow the links to Wikipedia's policies that I provided in the warnings above, since all you need to know can be found there. Your external links do not belong here, and will be reverted at sight if you re-add them. Your website might also be blacklisted on all Wikipedia and Wikimedia sites if you continue adding links to it. Thomas.W ^talk 18:26, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
