Welcome!

Hello, Clay KH, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Roman Holiday (song), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

The article Roman Holiday (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources, unreleased, no demonstration that it will be notable once it is released.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Creating articles[edit]

All article subjects must be notable, via the guidelines at WP:RS, and must be properly sourced using reliable sources (guideline at WP:RS). Creating articles on unreleased songs with no indication that they are notable and with no sources isn't helpful. Wikipedia doesn't list every song ever released, only those that have received media attention (ie: not just an iTunes listing). Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines before creating articles, to help you create better articles that are less likely to get deleted. Your contributed article, Starships (Song)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Starships (Song). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - see previous speedy delete. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at see previous speedy delete - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Dennis Brown (talk) 16:17, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

February 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Starships (Song), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Recreating a page with substantially the same content after it has been deleted is considered disruptive. Dennis Brown (talk) 16:18, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Redirections[edit]

Most of the new articles you have created have been redirected: instead of having a standalone article, the names have been pointed to be a part of a larger article. This is because we have a guideline about when a song should have an article, WP:NSONGS, and the songs you have created articles about don't meet it.

When this happens, the thing to do is to wait until the topic actually meets guidelines for inclusion, and then undo the redirect. Don't recreate the article under a slightly different name. All that means is more work for administrators that have to clean up after the duplicates.—Kww(talk) 00:36, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There was no need to change from the purple cover to the pink one. The purple one is used in so many more nations and is more indicative of the album than the pink one for the US release.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:15, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't upload the US cover. It's identical to the international one except it's pink instead of purple. It is violating WP:NFCC to have it, as well as the purple one. Just leave the purple one.—Ryulong (竜龙) 02:47, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop it[edit]

Stop adding in TBA as the release date to Champion (Nicki Minaj song). It was released as a digital download with the album, once it gets a radio release date then you can add it in.--(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 21:37, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on My Dilemma (Selena Gomez & the Scene song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. November 2012[edit]

Please refrain from making this change to Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The guideline for the singles template is clearly cited in the article, bookending the template in the infobox reading "per Template:Infobox album#Template:Singles, do not add songs from re-releases", which you removed. You have disregarded the guideline similarly before with this edit on 3 November 2012. Any further edits against this guideline will be considered disruptive. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 13:41, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Status. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Girl Who Got Away without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!  — Statυs (talk, contribs) 14:58, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
