It's not vandalism: The FPC has closed, and has passed, and I had already put them into Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Showcase/FP. You do realise I nominated it, right? Adam Cuerden (talk) 01:09, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sonasonic's Reply[edit]

Dear clubclubclub, I have studied and reviewed the passage and sources and it seems that it contains only a blog and two videos on YouTube. In my opinion, a blog is not a reliable source of information, much less are the two videos, one which only has the man saying that Justin has done it only once. These sources are not proof that this occurrence has happened before and/or has happened repeatedly, and should not be posted here on Wikipedia unless explicitly shown and proven on a reliable web service. Sonasonic (talk) 19:18, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reply 2[edit]

The point of my edit is that there is a lack of proper evidence to support the claim. If there was, I wouldn't be editiing it wholesale. It is better to not say something rather than saying something untrue. Thank you for telling me about the ~ thing tho. Sonasonic (talk) 19:20, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think deleting the unproven text would be very wise, by undoing your edit.Sonasonic (talk) 04:12, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism revert?[edit]

Respectfully, I think your revert of my edit was mistaken. All I did was put the headings of the article in sentence-style caps, like WP:MOS advises. --Jprg1966 (talk) 19:44, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated sources[edit]

I've removed some expired citations... What's the best way to handle this? P.S. How do you organize userboxes? Clubclubclub (talk) 16:10, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Club(x3)! You can find information on organising userboxes on this page and section: Wikipedia:Userboxes#Grouping userboxes. For your purposes, using a template like {{Userboxtop}} would probably work well. If you want help with that, let me know, I can edit your userpage for you to show you an example. I'll answer about expired citations in a moment, after I've looked at your contributions. Julia\talk 19:25, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I said above in my last sentence that I would answer about expired citations in a moment. I was just answering the easy question first! Julia\talk 19:37, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I missed that part, thanks for answering the first one though.--Clubclubclub (talk) 19:38, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay! Julia\talk 19:51, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What to do about expired citations depends on the situation. In the first instance you should read Wikipedia:Link rot. It has a lot of information on what to do in particular circumstances. The first piece of advice, however, is that you should never remove a citation simply because the link is dead. Content that is cited is cited–the reference that you removed from nuclear fusion, for example, had a title, and an access date, and if you do a web search for it, you will find it. The content is no less cited than it was before, and the information is still retrievable, despite the link that was used being dead. Your best solution is to update the link, not remove it. For the National Ignition Facility that should be easy, as the article is available elsewhere on the Internet. In other cases where you can't find the content currently hosted anywhere, you could try internet archives. If that doesn't work, including {{deadlink}} inside the ref tag is what you should do. All of this is available in the link rot guidance page I mentioned. Hope that helps! Julia\talk 19:51, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't do anything wrong, I found out my wifi was hacked(forgot the passcode)

After looking at the edits, this appears to be nonsense. You played this same game back in January, so you've had your second chance. Kuru (talk) 13:50, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

What do you mean? I was hacked.

Decline reason:

Then we need to keep this blocked in case it gets hacked again and more abuse comes out of it. only (talk) 19:48, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

But, I'll be more secure

Decline reason:

Doesn't work like that. Since we can't be sure that you (the person typing the unblock request) are really you (the person who registered the account in the first place) anymore, this account will never be unblocked. It's not as though your history here does you any favours, either. Yunshui  13:55, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
