Umm...

What's going on with ClueBot right now? Why is he not active? みんな空の下 (トーク) 04:07, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect revert message

I'm hesitant to call it a "good" edit (and so couldn't use the standard form), since it was linkspamming, but I think Cluebot may have left an incorrect revert summary for it. The edit in question was [1], with the reason "making a minor change with obscenities". There aren't any obscenities in that edit. If the revert was for linkspamming, it probably should make that clearer in the revert warning. Seraphimblade Talk to me 00:16, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

I wonder what you'd call the ticket out? mechamind90 21:02, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

I was beginning to think you'd gone off to some Bot convention and not told anyone! --5 albert square (talk) 00:17, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Problem with Creativity talkpage archiving

Hello - I'm trying to sort out access to the archives for talk:Creativity. At the moment, the archive links to User:ClueBot_III/Master_Detailed_Indices/Talk:Creativity, which is more or less a blank page. Looking through the history, it looks like after every revision, cluebot blanks the page. The last edit but one seems fine. I didn't want to revert as I don't understand how bots work (and I don't know if being bold is appropriate in this instance). If it's not a cluebot error, I apologise. Thanks in advance.VsevolodKrolikov (talk) 13:34, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for sorting it out.VsevolodKrolikov (talk) 06:49, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

To ClueBot

I created new voices "Global colding" to specify the difference with "Global cooling"

A page which ClueBot III isn't archiving

Why doesn't ClueBot III archive Wikipedia:Edit filter/False positives/Reports? עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 06:43, 15 September

Changes Arab scientists

Why undo my changes without reading them...? The list is one of Arab scientists, exept it is full with non-Arabs. Before changing stuf, please take some time to read and find out what it is you exactly changed. Greetz

Oops, Hsuan Hua

I reverted ClueBot's reversion of my edit to the Hsuan Hua article, not realizing that it is bad form to do so. I'm a newbie, sorry. Dunno if I should revert the reverted reversion, or just leave it and wait and see... Messmer777 (talk) 10:56, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Finally.

Took him long enough to revert an edit at Talk:Justin Bieber. Looks like it does work. mechamind90 00:26, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Requested new trigger for ClueBot Anti-vandal

When a user adds <big><big><big> to the article space...

...to create distractions like this...

...they may be up to no good. Real constructive editors know they belong exclusively in classes or outside the article space. Perhaps that should be added and ClueBot's description should be "making a minor change adding oversize text" when the user adds more than 3<big> statements in a row. mechamind90 05:19, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Asteroid stubs

Hi Cobi! Way back, ClueBot II created a number of asteroid stubs like 19913 Aigyptios. Some of these (438, to be precise) are missing discoverer, discovery date and site, resulting in text like "19913 Aigyptios (1973 SU1) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on , by at ." Have you by any chance access to machine-readable data for fixing this? Otherwise, I'll probably run AWB over these articles to change the text to just "19913 Aigyptios (1973 SU1) is a Jupiter Trojan." Thanks, ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 18:37, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
