Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Cockfight has been reverted.
Your edit here to Cockfight was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://unofc.wordpress.com/, http://gtte.wordpress.com/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Gamecock do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Cockfight. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 10:57, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Cockfight. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

This is your last warning; the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Gamecock, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended or used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, please see how to appeal a block. -- DQ (t) (e) 11:49, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

i added links to "facts, art, and science of cockfighting" and another link to "gamecock breed and strains with photo" - why on earth did some of the anti-cockfighting groups' links allowed which promoting anti-cockfighting opinions and not facts. and also promoting hsus and other anti-cockfighting groups. why does a pro-cockfighting and pro-gamecock site like the site i added as external link be considered a spam. i just removed all company names in the site so that it will be considered non-commercial and it is always a legitimate site of the universal sport of cockfighting. if you allow "humane society factsheet on cockfighting" external link, you should also allow the links i shared - which is the opposite of hsus links. the sites links i added is pro-cockfighting and pro-gamecock and they are considered spam. where is free speech in wikipedia.org. the site links i added are full of cockfighting history from the ancient times to today. Same goes with the gamecock breed or strains link which covers all gamecocks of the world - almost all of them. thank you.

You may not promote your blog here. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 13:07, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You continued to re-add links to Wordpress, which you were warned not to multiple times. Wordpress is not a reliable source and cannot be used as an external link/reference. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:40, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, you may not link to your own blog posts. --jpgordon::==( o ) 15:27, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please put unblock requests here at the bottom of the page, so people can see the actual chronological sequence -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:14, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • And to answer your question, the reason why Wordpress is not considered a reliable source is because it is a blog, not because of any objection to its domain name. Your own blog posts are simply not reliable sources and cannot be used as external links, no matter what blog you might find to post them on -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:49, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
