New Zealand[edit]

I noticed that in your recent edits to New Zealand you didn't provide an 'edit summary'. Providing such a summary is seen as a courtesy to other editors; indeed, lack of such as summary is often a sign of vandalism (though your edits were OK apart from a minor grammatical infelicity). Just below the box in which you edit you will find a single-line box in which you can place a brief summary of what you edit was about. Keep up the good work. Not to worry; everyone has initial problems coming to grips with how things are done on Wikipedia. Murray Langton (talk) 13:21, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Don't hesitate to ask me or some other established editor if you have doubts. Because of the way in which Wikipedia keeps track of all previous versions of a page, most edits can be reverted if you mess things up any way. Murray Langton (talk) 13:23, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page File:IHA Logo March 2008.jpg has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
