A tag has been placed on L.Sprio's Memory Hacking Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. will381796 (talk) 04:11, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Deleted Page[edit]

I have e-mailed you a copy of the deleted article, "L.Sprio's Memory Hacking Software". Please note, however, that recreating an article that was deleted without addressing the reason for deletion is grounds for immediate deletion, and can also lead to your account being blocked. In this case, the article would need rewriting to be less of an advertisement for the product, and you would need to establish that the product had received significant coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the company producing the software; see Wikipedia:Notability for details. WikiProject Software might be able to provide some hints as to how to fulfil the criteria. Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 18:49, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Colintso, I noticed the information you provided in the MS Antivirus article - and I greatly appreciate your efforts. I'm sorry, but I had to remove the information. To be honest, I too wish we could include that type of information, but the community has agreed to limit our content to only encyclopedic information. Basically what this means is we can't include instructions on how to do things. There is a longer and better explanation at WP:NOTHOWTO. Thank you for helping us work on Wikipedia, and please keep editing - you'll pick up the fine points as you go along. — Ched ~ (yes?) 22:41, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
