Although it is one of the trickier aspects of wikipedia policy, the policy at WP:EXT governs external links. The bar for a link to be included is high (because otherwise the list would get very long, and wikipedia is not a link directory), as is seen for example in the wording "Any site that does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article would contain if it became a Featured article". Anyway, that's what is going on if other editors have a more restrictive idea of what belongs in an external links section than you do. Kingdon (talk) 16:05, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
