Welcome from Redwolf24[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (Redwolf24 10:37, 10 July 2005 (UTC)) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (Redwolf24) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.[reply]

The mop is mine!

Thanks for voting in my RfA; I promise I'll wield my sacred mop with care. If you ever need me for anything, you know where to find me. Thanks again! -- Essjay · Talk 15:32, July 20, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the comments on my talk page, very interesting. You said "we"; are you a veteran? Grant65 (Talk) 05:05, July 30, 2005 (UTC)

Did you try refreshing? It looks fine to me. I'm using Firefox. — J3ff 07:00, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi from Concepción[edit]

Hey Paul, Howzit goin?. I also live in Conce, Chile and I'd love to catch up with a fellow Wikipedista penquista. If you want to call me so we can have a beer or three, call me at 400472. Ask for Guy. --GringoInChile 05:07, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

By right or might[edit]

Hi, Conce.
There is no problem for me your reversion. I think, anyway, that the correct translation of Chile's motto must be By right or might, but By reason or by force is acceptable, too.
There is just a thing I want to say you: your correction was not focused on my translation, but the begin of that article. My translation is at the end (see this)... so will you also correct it?
Sincerely,
CUADRADO ORTIZ, Juan Carlos

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
