wp:Templates such as {{Infobox person}} (click for docs) have a fixed set of fields such as "|occupation=". One can not create a field (there are some fields that the title can be set) without creating a template.
Please wp:cite a wp:reliable source (RS) for the burial date. If it is supported by existing citations, I recommend mentioning that in your wp:edit summary.
You can use wp:Show preview to check your edit before publishing. Doing so can avoid clogging up the wp:page history with experimental edits.
BTW: I think you left a superfluous period/full-stop before the "in January 1, 2001". Cheers Adakiko (talk) 10:46, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
