September 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Australian Party with this edit do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Calabe1992 (talk) 04:37, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Aidan McLindon with this edit. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Calabe1992 (talk) 04:39, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add defamatory content, as you did at Talk:Australian Party, you may be blocked from editing. Calabe1992 (talk) 04:43, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you harm Wikipedia, as you did at Aidan McLindon with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Calabe1992 (talk) 04:44, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How have I harmed those pages? You are wasting my time. It must be true that most wikipedians have no girlfriends. Copycatinahat (talk) 04:49, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to ignore those warnings - your edits, at least to Australian Party, are constructive. Whether or not they belong on the politicians' personal pages isn't my call (I'd bring it up on the talk pages, as you tried to do once before).
I'll leave a note on the user page of the editor who warned you. While your frustration is understandable, remember that we're all human, and we all make mistakes. You're within policy in terms of external linking, but personal attacks are taken much more seriously.
Anyway, no worries. Consider your slate clean (those warnings will stay up there for historical purposes, but they don't count - feel free to blank them if you wish).
Also, my girlfriend would like to say hello to you, and wants you to know that she's quite sure she exists. :) Any questions can be directed to my talk page. Cheers, and thanks for contributing, m.o.p 05:03, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
