Request reason:
My edit was solely created to mock the user BtSVFan for changing a pic on the Mammal page. It wasn't meant to disrupt the page forever since it was clear to me that his pic edit would also draw attention to the page's main text. I know the user from another board, he's a good guy. I have edited quite a few pages in good faith and this is my first violation. I am kindly requesting the current indefinite block to be changed to a temporary block. You seem to be trying to defend an indefensible edit. There is no excuse for vandalizing an article. None. That you did it with the specific intent to mock another user makes it even worse. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. - the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or

Hello, I have been blocked indefinitely since the 4th July, 2011 and I fully understand why, because vandalism will not be tolerated here (it may personally and negatively affect a person if the page is about him/her) especially when coupled with obscene or offensive material. This has been my only offense on Wikipedia in 3 years and due to the reasons being stated and actions being taken it will be my last.
